Skill Builder for Drug Use

This module teaches trigger recognition, craving management, refusal skills, cognitive restructuring, decision-making, problem-solving, and relapse prevention strategies for drug use. Modules are available in English or Spanish.

Skill Builder for Alcohol Use

This module teaches trigger recognition, craving management, refusal skills, cognitive restructuring, decision-making, problem-solving, and relapse prevention strategies for alcohol use.

Led by Kathleen Carroll, PhD, an internationally recognized expert in cognitive behavioral therapy, the team at Yale developed CBT4CBT. The program’s effectiveness has been validated through eight randomized clinical trials, with funding and support from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).
