Utilizing Digital Solutions to Maximize Client Care
FLACRA (Finger Lakes Area Counseling & Recovery Agency) began its partnership with CHESS Health in 2016 with eRecovery, expanding to include eIntervention in 2019. This innovative closed-loop referral solution connects individuals with services for substance use disorder (SUD), mental health issues, and social determinants of health (SDOH).
Initially utilized internally for organizational efficiency, eIntervention has proven highly effective, prompting FLACRA to extend its use to community partners. This collaborative approach fosters a supportive ecosystem for those seeking help.
To date, FLACRA has processed over 7,000 referrals for more than 5,600 clients, achieving an impressive 76.8% closed referral rate and 98.9% of the intended outcomes of their cases were met. These results underscore the tool’s impact in addressing SUD, opioid use disorder (OUD), and mental health challenges.
