Revolutionizing Student Behavioral Health Referrals with eIntervention

CREOKS Health Services Sapulpa Clinic has successfully collaborated with local public schools to provide essential student behavioral health services. However, the previous manual referral process was prone to errors, causing individuals to get lost in administrative paperwork.

Thanks to a partnership between the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) and CHESS Health, the clinic implemented the eIntervention closed-loop referral system, streamlining processes and achieving a remarkable 100% increase in referrals from schools, significantly improving client retention rates. A clinic director who regularly meets with school officials notes their appreciation for the new system, which enables children and families to receive help faster, leading to better outcomes.

With this digital solution, referrals are made instantly and tracked throughout the process, eliminating the risk of misplaced faxes or unanswered service requests. Both the clinic and schools can easily access data to monitor the progress of each referral in real time.
